Cookie Policy
Information on cookies and similar technologies used on dpoworkspace.eu, pursuant to Italian DPA measure no. 231 of 10 June 2021 and EDPB Guidelines 03/2022.

1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that visited sites send to the user's device (computer, smartphone, tablet), where they are stored to be sent back to the site on the next visit.
On dpoworkspace.eu we use only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies essential for the platform to work. We do not use third-party profiling, marketing or analytics cookies.
2.Types of cookies used
2.1 Technical cookies (necessary)
They are essential for providing the service and do not require consent under Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003. They are used for:
- User authentication and session maintenance
- Security (CSRF, anti-bot)
- Storing preferences (language, cookie banner acceptance)
- Load balancing

2.2 Local Storage and Session Storage
We use the browser's Local Storage and Session Storage to store, persistently or temporarily, information needed to use the platform:
- Application state (active filters, current view)
- Data cache to optimise loading
- UI preferences (light/dark mode, text size)
These technologies are all technical/necessary and do not involve profiling.

3.Third-party cookies
When you use certain platform features, cookies may be set by third-party providers we work with to deliver the service:
- Stripe (payments): when you complete a payment or access the Customer Portal you are redirected to Stripe pages that set their own cookies. See Stripe Cookie Policy.
- Google (if you use "Sign in with Google" and Firebase Auth): Google cookies for OAuth authentication. See Google Cookie Policy.
The cookies of these parties are governed by their respective privacy notices and cookie policies. We have no direct control over their duration or purpose.
4.How to manage cookies
Technical cookies: being necessary for the service to work, they cannot be disabled. If you block them at browser level, some features may be unavailable or authentication may fail.
