TL;DR
Company registration on a single screen with obligations updating on every keystroke; a people × courses matrix; a twelve-month expiry strip; a score that opens and shows its weights. Plus the employer training course, which was missing.
Six steps were five too many
The registration form asked for six screens, and the picture of obligations — who becomes mandatory, how many training hours, which document areas switch on — appeared only at the end. That is the wrong moment: by the time you discover that the number of workers decides who may act as prevention head, that number was entered four screens ago and fixing it means going back. Now the fields are on the left and the picture on the right, fixed while you scroll, updating on every keystroke.
The matrix is the view missing everywhere
People as rows, courses as columns, and in the cell the months left before expiry. A list of certificates answers «when does this one expire»; only the matrix answers «who has never done anything», which is the question that bites under inspection — an expired certificate is visible, one that was never obtained is not. It is the table every prevention head draws by hand on paper before a meeting.
- The twelve-month strip: twelve columns, height means how many expiries fall in that month, overdue in red. A list by date says what expires first, not where the work piles up.
- The company map, sorted by lowest score: the first one you read is the one in worst shape.
- The score opens and shows its four groups with their weights: roles 35, training 35, documents 20, profile 10.
What the score does not say
It does not say «compliant», and it never will: it says how many items are covered out of those due. Compliance is a verdict for whoever signs. And with a blocking item open — a mandatory role that is vacant, an expired certificate — the score stays below sixty even if everything else is fine: a well-filled profile does not offset a missing prevention head.
The same work brought in the employer training course introduced by Italy's State-Regions Agreement of 17 April 2025. Previously the «employer» role was wired to the Art. 34 course, which is a different thing: an employer who is not also the prevention head appeared in no training gap despite holding a duty with a precise deadline.
